Swan Samba

We’ve been looking for a Samba band to join for some time, and we’re so pleased we’ve found Swan Samba! Such a friendly group of people, who clearly enjoy what they do, made us feel very welcome from the start. Gary the leader is exceptional, so helpful. We’ve now finished our taster sessions and are looking forward to our future with the band!

Great fun and everyone is very friendly. Even though I was a complete beginner, I have always really enjoyed the classes. Gary is a great teacher - very enthusiastic!

I joined Swan Samba in lockdown 2020, needing something new to focus on. Learning on Zoom was a bit tricky, but so much better now we can do it in person. It is a fantastic way of switching your head off from work, and good exercise while making music. I joined as a complete novice (I'd never even held a drum before) but I am getting by! Great bunch of like-minded people. Highly recommended!
