Research conducted on the science of human behaviour has enabled us to construct an approach to understanding and changing behaviour. ABA is used to teach new social, communication and independent living skills, while addressing challenging behaviours that are barriers to learning. By carefully analysing why behaviours occur, assessing current skill levels, and systematically teaching skills, we put in place the building blocks for reducing challenging behaviours, and learning new skills.
