Went on a second trip with Tom and Summit guides last week in the Cairngorms and It was exceptional. The level of knowledge and attention to detail was amazing and it was just what we were after. This was a winter mountaineering trip and the previous was a climbing/scrambling expedition. Great teaching to give us the skills we needed to move forward. We (party of two) booked a day winter climbing in the cairngorms. We have trad climbing and winter walking experience but still plenty of gaps in our knowledge. We also couldn’t commit to more than one day as it was a family holiday. Tom at Summit Guides planned a bespoke day that focused on those gaps and helped move us towards independence when winter climbing in the future. The trip to Mt Toubkal is one of the best organised holidays that I've been on.
