Strode College

I studied here for two years completing an adult foundation degree course in history heritage and archaeology. I found the staff and lecturers to be friendly, welcoming and supportive. Despite covid and lockdowns I felt supported and staff made every effort to make the course as interesting and enriched as possible. Would definitely recommend this course and this college.

I was enrolled here for 2 years and was majorly struggling mentally which was very obvious to the teachers and college staff. Although I really wanted to complete my course and was still doing work they asked for, being in college physically was very hard for me. They did not try to sort out a plan or help me get around this and instead kicked me out after 2 years therefore wasting my funding, if I was to go back to college I’d have to pay out of my own pocket. Some amazing teaching Anthony Harvey, David Howarth, Gemma Harris are just some of the amazing lecturers make the lessons interactive and easy to learn environment instead of reading information out of a textbook

To be honest I drove a lady there who had official business with the college,so didn't realy see to mutch of the buildings interior apart from the rest room. I spent eight hours waiting in the car in a very large car park observing all around, that's when I wasn't sleeping it's a big place with lots of movement, got to say security is spot on plenty of CCTV and police patrols. All in all looks like a great college to be at. Students seem very smart and orderly, not like some I have been to.

Had a wonderful experience of attempting my Foundation Degree in History, Heritage and Archaeology while fighting health conditions hopefully be able to return in 2019 as third attempt. All staff at the College are so amazing and caring
