  • We arrived at 11:35 ahead of our ride due for 12 but was told via email to arrive 15 minutes early to sort out fitting. Another trio had also arrived just shortly after us as they were also booked in for the same time. Came to about 11:50 and no one arrived at all. One of the ladies phoned Rothiemercus Centre to find out what was going on to then be told we had to go down to the Farm Shop to get a refund as they didn’t know what was going on. • Absolutely wonderful. Fiona is knowledgeable, experienced and wonderful around horses, and her animals are a proof of that-happy and visibly well looked after. Lead by Fiona we took an hour's trek across the countryside admiring the beautiful surroundings and Fiona's stories. She patiently provided helpful advice and filled us with confidence which meant we had a truly wonderful and unforgettable experience. I hope one day we can come back. Marta and Nathalie ❤

  • This is the most gorgeous trekking centre with superb, beautifully trained and cared for, highland ponies. Whether you are a complete beginner or experienced rider Strathspey is unbeatable.

  • Was awesome. Our little ones weren't sure about horses (to be honest, they both cried to start with) but the people running it were very patient, as were the ponies. By the end, they loved it.

  • My child was super happy with his experience! Will definitely go back once my youngest is 3 so he can ride on the pony too ❤️ the staff were very nice, even offered my youngest a free ride around the yard.
