You might be surprised by the quality of this course with greens that are as good as you can find in the UK. The course is extremely well presented from tee to green and provides a challenge in its tightness. Well worth a look if you're in the area

Old fashioned listed clubhouse but surprisingly modern outlook on the membership. Course is in fantastic condition. Green keepers should be proud of what they have presented. Food very good and bar staff friendly and most polite. Well done Stratford GC

I played the course for the first time today with the Massey Ferguson Golf Society. The course is in amazingly good condition following days of heavy rain. The course was closed early morning to clear standing water from the greens, but opened in time for our competition, which commenced at 10.30am. The greens were fast and very consitant. Well done to the green keeper & staff. Good beer, friendly staff and an excellent dinner....what's not to like?
