Stow on the Wold Rugby club hosted a Sunday carvery yesterday, warm and friendly clubhouse, bar not overly priced. Food was great, good value, very tasty and enough of it. Warm and friendly bar. We will definitely book again. Caroline the steward is so helpful - nothing is too much trouble. Well done Stow rugby club.

The only good things about this campsite are the view and the location. Both things it didn't arrange itself. Oh and Terri if you catch her. It is basically a rugby club that wants to make some extra money. There is no love, nor attention. Festival toilets, no privacy in the showers, neglected and worn playground. All mentioned before. We’ve just come back from a great weekend in the Cotswolds and stayed at the Stow Rugby Club campsite. Great location for exploring the Cotswolds. This weekend was a bit of a celebration for the club, I think I overheard someone says it’s been 125 years since they reached the final so there was a lot of celebration in the club house and probably a lot more people than usual camping, but the camp area was really quiet, loos and shower block toasty warm. Myself and my family have just returned home from a few days camping at the rugby club and the first thing to say is what a beautiful spot it is set in. Before leaving home we received a welcome email from Teri the Club Steward and she came to meet us as we were setting up, so the welcome is warm and Teri is lovely.
