I want to say a big thank you to Fiona and her staff for their outstanding support and service that they gave us in organising our family wake. Nothing was too much trouble, they were attentive and compassionate. The facitlites were clean and well presented. Meeting our needs perfectly. Their understanding of allergies instantly made us feel comfortable and that we made the right choice. Highly recommended. Fiona you were outstanding and attentive. Thank you so much.

Very disappointing experience today at granddaughters christening celebration. As several of our guests left early due to travelling time the staff decided to close the bar and asked the remaining guests to leave, at 4.30... even though we had booked and paid for the room from 3.00 until 7.00......apparently there werent enough people to warrant staying open....even though our round was £35 a time! If you consider booking this venue please ensure your guests are chained to your side....oh and...

Love SBC, they always have some nice and pretty well organized head and regatta races. Everyone is really friendly and I'm happy to say I have some of the nicest rowing colleagues here. The site offers something for everyone. There is small amusement park across the river, a beautiful lock and barge marina, huge park with a wading pool for small children. It's just a short walk to the city centre where there are a number of pub and takeaway options. The very first time I came there was a bar...
