Was there yesterday at a friends 80th.Excellent meal,staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely surroundings.Thank you to Russ and your team.

Really enjoyed playing Stocksfield again after about a 10 year break. Course was in excellent condition despite the very recent dry weather. Tees, bunkers and greens were well presented and maintained. Superb practice putting green. Course is very tight in places and tricky to hit smallish hard greens. Don't need driver much on tree-lined first 9 holes. Opens out on 2nd 9. The lad working in pro shop and the bar staff were very welcoming. Food was good and well priced. The round was only £10 ...

First time I've played here and all 4 of us were very impressed. Course is in immaculate condition and set among some great scenery. We had really nice weather too which always helps. All finished off with some delicious freshly prepared food in the we'll appointed and friendly clubhouse. Knowledge of the greens and fairways is necessary to make good scores so I think we'll be having a return visit while it's fresh in our heads.

Good parkland course. Extremely tight tree lined front 9. Greens good with tricky breaks. Paths need attention too many large stones and tree roots exposed. Lot of crossover holes which can be dangerous. Nice clubhouse and veranda.
