Sewing with Emma - Tulip Dress by Sew Different

Join us for a day of dressmaking with our tutor Emma Smith.

Emma has a wealth of dressmaking experience and teaches for sewing studios and pattern company retreats across the UK.   

This dress by Sew Different is beginner friendly and will build your sewing skills with a interesting pleat detail and curved bubble hem.  There is also an optional long sleeve if you prefer. 

Emma can assist you with any fit issues although this dress is quite forgiving and comes in sizes UK 8 - 26.  It will be a super day, a great opportunity to sew with a lovely small group so you can ask all the questions. 

The Tulip Dress is a gently fitted dress with a soft bubble hem. It has a shallow V-neck and a front pleat giving it extra room around the waist and allowing it to be pulled on over your head – no zip required.  There are little swing sleeves that come midway down your upper arm and big pockets in the side seams. 

You will need to bring along fabric to make your dress and a lunch to nibble, we will keep you going with tea and cake!  The paper pattern RRP £18.50 is included.
