Description

This two day workshop suitable for those who have a little bit of dressmaking under their belts and which to build their skills including princess seams, lining, buttonholes and in seam pockets.  We will be making the Erin Dungarees from Tilly and the Buttons.

This is very versatile pattern with three leg lengths and two shoulder strap options.  A real wardrobe staple and can work in every season. By signing up you will get a copy of the pattern (worth £17.50) and two days of workshop time with hands on tuition and instruction from Hannah.

You will need to buy your own fabric or choose from one of the fabric bundles provided and your fabric will be ready for you when you arrive.

This is an intermediate sewing workshop so we suggest that you are comfortable using a sewing machine and have made a garment or two before.   We will select the size most suitable for your body and make any adjustments needed so your dungarees are so comfortable you will be wearing them all spring and making more for the rest of the year!

Whats included - your pattern to keep which retails at £17.50, full tuition, tea/coffee and homemade cake.

What to bring - fabric and notions, lunch and your sewing machine (unless you plan to borrow one).

Option 2: Sunday only sew-along - you are sent the pattern (and fabric if you choose it) ahead of the workshop.  Cut out your pattern pieces in your size at home - videos are available to help with choosing sizes, minor adjustments, layout of pattern pieces and cutting out.  Bring your cut out pieces ready to sew on Sunday morning.

We aim for everyone to make the full garment by the end of the course but if you are someone who likes to take a lot of time over your work you may not complete by 4pm on Sunday.
