In 2021, with Covid restrictions, we had a funeral to arrange for my aunt. One of her requests was for a specific version of a hymn. Due to the covid restrictions we weren’t able to sing or have the service in a church with lots of people. We couldn’t find a recording of the hymn so I approached Matty to see if the idea of putting together the recording as a family was realistic. I went for 3 sessions covering the techniques used in mastering a track. Matty’s communication was excellent. He is relaxed and engaging with clear instruction given. When we worked through a couple of my own tracks, Matty was a really great source of ideas, suggestions and inspiration. He has a full knowledge of the subject and is skilled at transforming the sounds and layout that you have, to the finished track you want. The studio space is well laid out and sounds amazing. Highly recommend.
