Stapleford Flight Centre

I've been coming back and forth to this place for longer than I can remember. There's something tranquil about the place, a strange old fashioned calm !!!. It's fascinating watching these small planes travel along the runaway at speed of a car cruising along, then takes off effortlessly. I went up years ago in a Focker took off at about 80 MPH, frightening, you feel there's nothing supporting you and the turbulence, wow!!!!,...those Fockers.

Great flight centre. We went for a Virgin Experience gift 30-min flying lesson. The staff were friendly and professional, and we really enjoyed the morning. Lovely cafe with outside seating, where you can watch the planes take off. Dogs allowed too, so even better.

Had a flight experience today and I must say it was very enjoyable. The facilities are great, nice cafe with a front row view of the aircraft coming and going. Really friendly staff, from the reception staff working hard to get everyone signed in and looked after to the Pilots, in my case Josh. Very impressed with Josh, I asked lots of questions and he was more than happy to explain things. Really relaxed chap which made the flight really enjoyable. Place to go in Essex for flying lessons and aeroplane watching. Friendly instructors, the lesson cost us £80 which was good value for the money. There is an onsite café and a bar and free parking for visitors.

A great place to learn to fly. A great instructor who will provide many valuable tips during the one-hour flight. Very helpful and polite ladies at the reception. I love this place. I will definitely come back.
