  • Played here on 19th July 22,yes the hottest day ever recorded in the uk.Course although very dry was in good condition overall. They are doing lots of rebuilding of additional tees. The greens were quite slow.My guess was they left them long to avoid burning them. Some of the greens had significant damage on them. Once we'd finished our round we went for some refreshments but the bar was shut.It was 7pm. We booked on golf now and paid just £12 so was an absolute bargain. Will definitely return ...

  • When most golf courses that aren't private have trolley bans, it was refreshing to play a course that was allowing both trolleys and buggies. Greens were a little bumpy but golf isn't supposed to be easy. A decent cut and roller could sort that out. Bunkers were terrible, I had to laugh a few times, bunkers had rakes but the sand was f...

  • Decent course that offers a fairly stern test. Some areas ruin the look of some of the course. The majority looks good, but little area let it down a bit. Still, it is a fairly well maintained club with a quirky little clubhouse.

  • A nice parkland course thats quite a challenge with some long par 4's, small greens and tight tree lined fairways. Water hazards come into play on maybe half the holes and there is nice variety with the holes on this rather flat course. My slight criticism is the greens were quite slow and losing a ball just off the fairway in the first cut twice was annoying but thats golf. Staff were friendly and for £19 for a midweek round its great value. I would recommend you try this course.

  • Greens, bunkers, fairways and tee boxes generally in good shape. Played during social distancing regulations with limited clubhouse facilities available. Green fees reasonable compared with other local golf courses. Relatively easy layout. Flat course with several dog legs to be aware of.
