Stalybridge Music Academy

I'm really impressed with this gem of a place. I've never had piano lessons before, I'm self taught and I've not been the best self tutor. I'm really benefitting from lessons and the practicing, great teacher, great staff, going regularly now. I'd very much recommend.

My daughter loves coming to piano lessons, Chris is very creative and professional teacher. There is lots of things going on to motivate kids to keep practicing and there are also workshops available for different instruments. Highly recommend Chris to all my friends.

My daughter is 6 and has started having singing lessons with josie, she is fab. My little girl has come on so much. Not just with her singing but with her speech also. Everybody here is very nice and polite. Thank you! X

My two sons have been attending the music academy for a number of years. Both my son's enjoy their lessons and have progressed in their music lessons. Their teacher is very patient and has a great report with them, especially with my son who is Autistic and can be challenging when being taught something new.

Our 7yo daughter started her weekly guitar lessons in February this year and will be taking her Grade 1 exam in November. We are so impressed with her progress! Chris is an excellent teacher — incredibly patient (with both child and parent!), helpful and approachable. She knows how to communicate effectively with children and thinks of ways on how to make learning more interesting for them! She is supportive and ready to advise, even outside of our booked sessions. Highly recommended!
