  • I had a go at a 'mixin' session and albeit some members being friendly, I found the overall vibe to be uninclusive and unwelcoming.

  • Welcoming, warm and friendly - St John's have re-introduced me to tennis in such an encouraging and helpful way! Really enjoying the coaching and Mixin sessions - lots of fun and laughter whilst getting back to the game - great!

  • Long time member of this tennis club, super inclusive, family friendly and lots going on in terms of coaching, matches, tournaments and social events. Very welcoming to new members of all ages and abilities. The addition of the two new grass courts as well as the existing 4 hard courts provides good variety for play and caters for the consistently busy club. JTS provides excellent coaching both indoors at the sports centre and outside at the club.

  • This club has had the same committee members for years. I was a member for quite some time and there was no progression or improvements with the clubhouse or the courts. The club is mainly members 40 yrs and up so implementing a grass court with high maintenance costs wasn’t “Conducive” to members fees and their physical abilities to play on a grass court.   • Excellent club with very friendly members and coaching. The confusion in the reviews is due to the bowling club that shared the clubhouse no longer existing, but the tennis club is still there and thriving
