Fantastic course, well deserved position in the top 100 courses. Only played in Open competitions as green fees a little high for just a knock. Excellent hospitality.

top class Heathland golf course, spectacular clubhouse

Originally, was going to say much more than "Play here if you possibly can..." but there is more. This is one of the finest courses - 27 holes - I have played. OK, some of the trees have been cut back, presumably to speed up play, and the greens can be mercurial but overall the course is better managed in the last 2 years than ever. The post-play drink on the terrace on a summer evening is delightful - Exquisite golf in secluded Surrey - Quintessential Britain #4
