Worked here recently, installing new flood lights, and had the pleasure to liaise with Roger from the rugby club. I can't speak highly enough of the chilled out, friendly and understand guy. It is a great location for the public to exercise and enjoy a wide open space but I just wish that ALL dog walkers would put their pet's excrement in the plentiful bins provided. The lady behind the bar ( With the pink and purple hair ) was incredibly keen to leave. So keen in fact that she told the widow of the deceased when asked what time we had to leave the wake that we needed to be out of there, " Now! Like right now, some of us have got other jobs to go to!" The double booking of the venue was also just a little bit of a problem! Absolutely vile. You would think the funeral of your partner of 45 years couldn't get any more upsetting. Oh yes it could!

Nice club house, some seating outside. Plenty off parking. Ideal for walking dogs in fields behind that have pathways cut out through the trees and grass
