  • Excellent club. Great tuition from a very family orientated organisation. I have been a member for many years and have learnt a lot and made a lot of friends along the way. Sensei Kevin Coles is a great teacher with lots of experience and understanding of karate. Well worth a visit.

  • My children and I have been training at the St. Albans and Porters Bar club for over 8 years. A great family atmosphere with very supportive instructor and senior grades. Great for developing self discipline, respect, fitness and making friends! Whether you are a beginner (like my son was at 5, and daughter at 7), or coming back to karate after a 15 year break (like myself!), you will be welcomed by the club, lead by a very experienced and well respected instructor.

  • I have been a member of the St Albans and Potters Bar Club for many years now. It has helped to keep me fighting fit, maintain a level of discipline and establish a wide variety of friendships through though those years. As well as benefiting from very experienced and knowledgeable instructors and students, the club is very welcoming to new members and beginners of all ages, both families and individuals. I would recommend St Albans and Potters Bar (Tiska) to anyone.

  • A welcoming club for children and adults alike. Superb instruction from Sensei Coles will take you from beginner to black belt and beyond. Whether you want to study and train in karate, increase your confidence or simply improve your fitness, I would fully recommend this club. With a broad mix of karate grades across all age groups, the club offers multiple training times during the week and plenty of opportunity throughout the year to grade and progress your karate.

  • I have been a member of Tiska St Albans for over 14 years when I originally joined to do karate with my children. Since then I have progressed through gradings and now hold the rank of 3rd level Black Belt. I never imagined back then it would become such an important and key part of my life. The club is very family orientated and inclusive. The quality of instruction is excellent. Its a great place to work out, have fun, while exercising your body and brain.
