Springhill Community House

Springhill Community House has been a pioneer of community education in West Belfast since 1972. Established by Fr Desmond Wilson the project is about helping people see their own potential. From its inception, the purpose of the ‘People’s School’, has and will continue to be about empowering people to take control of their own lives. This remains at the heart of what Springhill is about and involves tackling the apathy and frustration felt by individuals through programmes of personal development, life coaching, education, training, health awareness and confidence building. Our primary aim is to target and recruit the most disadvantaged individuals within our community and to support them improve their quality of life and wellbeing.
