Spondon Cricket Club

Came for a private event here. Lovely venue with great staff.

Awful place for residents living in Spondon… The club take no responsibility for their visitors who park inconsiderately around the residential areas. Tonight is their fireworks evening and the parking is just ridiculous and dangerous. Take some responsibility!

Went to see family and ended up watching a firework display on the cricket ground. It always amazes me how nice this local community comes together to support the area they live in. If only more places were like this

Didn't go to watch Cricket. It was to a private party. The venue is basically very good with a free car park. The facilities too are good. Bar prices quite reasonable. In the summer with the balcony doors open to catch the sunset this is a lovely place, but it should be understood that cricket is a summer game, so there is only very limited heating in the main function room if you party there in the winter. For this reason it only gets Four Stars from me.
