Great experience, Alastair was a great tutor, nothing was to much for him. Explained everything to me in every detail, no rush getting in & out of cockpit. When it was over Alastair took my partner & I into the Hanger & out onto the apron to see a Spitfire coming into land & to look at other Spitfires being worked on. Brilliant experience. What an amazing experience. A boyhood dream coms true, how many of us have built the little plastic kit and dreamt of being sat in the cockpit and flying it. The reception , care and hospitality is excellent, a good pre flight briefing gives you the best opportunity to get the most out of your once in a lifetime experience. I went with my youngest daughter who took me, " you wont be back on terra firma for ages once you land" how right she was. She was well looked after while I was in the air...

Absolutely amazing day. Staff couldn't do more for us and for my mate that flew with them having come over from NZ. I flew last year and experience is out of this world. Definitely a spitfire smile day!

Hugely fortunate to be given a flight in a Spitfire for my 50th birthday. Took the flight on 21/4/22 under beautiful blue skies. The whole thing from when I arrived to when I landed was superbly operated. Everyone was professional and friendly. My pilot Tim was a really nice chap and was very complimentary about my few minutes being in control of a Spitfire. Unbelievably good experience down at Boultbee with my 30 minute Spitfire flight. I could not fault the operation of the day, from start to finish everything was so professionally organised and ran immaculately. The staff (Simon and Jim) were brilliant and so helpful. I cannot recommend this once in a lifetime experience enough!
