What happens in this course?
In this course you will learn how to use smudging to cleanse yourself, others, your home and objects of negative energy. I will also teach you to close portals if there is a visiting spirit causing problems.
Smudging is a practice of connecting with the Spirit of certain plants and herbs to help cleanse, uplift, protect, and unite the physical and Spiritual planes.
Ancient traditions all around the world have incorporated the practice of smudging into their ceremonies. From the incense of Asia and Europe to the Indigenous people of the Americas, smudging has been a powerful tool to connect with “that which is greater than us”.

I just love working with all sorts of crafts. Designing bespoke pieces for the home and I try to upcycle as much as possible to be kinder to our planet and produce beautiful handcrafted pieces.
I have been smudging and cleansing my space, self and others for over 7yrs and I have been teaching others how to do the same for around 6yrs now.
I love how we can connect to plants and how they help us in so many ways. One of them is being able to cleanse a space, person or object.
N.B I live in a caravan so In-person sessions will always be changing as and when we move around.

Absolutely, Smudging is for everyone. Smudging is perfect for people who are wishing to support themselves through life, manage transitions, and deal with negativity and stress in an easy, calming way. To help family members, pets and friends with their struggles of stagnant negative energy.
All of my classes are designed so that anyone can benefit from the material presented. The class material is helpful for professionals such as nurses, massage therapists, physicians, or “regular people” who wish to use Smudging on themselves, family, friends and others.

Is Smudging Dangerous?
It can be, especially if you leave your lit smudge stick unattended.
All jokes aside, though. Sacred or not, smudging and any incense burning involve smoke. So far, no smoke on this planet is good or at least not harmful to our lungs.
Whenever you burn something, inside or outside, you create particulate matter (PM) – a mixture of solid and liquid particles suspended in the air. Breathing this in for long periods of time can agitate the lungs.
Am I able to charge for Smudging someone else's space after this course?
Yes, you may, This course is designed so that you can practice as a Smudgest afterwards. It is not just for personal use.
Do I receive the all that's included in the course price?
If you have purchased the in-person course you will receive the materials to create your own feather fan and you will be given smudging herbs and a bowl.
However, if you have purchased the online course you will not be receiving any materials, herbs or bowl. You will still be taught how to create your feather fan.
What Ongoing Support do Your Offer Students?
The role of a Smudging teacher is very important to me. I want to be a part of your Smudging journey and not just at the beginning of it.
I am available for any questions or support face to face, by phone, email or a DM via social media or post your question directly into my Facebook group (Spiritual Vitality Holistic Academy) so that others may learn from your question as well.
Charmaine is also available for one-to-one Smudging mentoring, this can be a great way to deepen your learning or adjust your practice etc.
I do not live in the UK can I still study with you?
Yes, of course. This course is great for anyone, anywhere in the world. That is why I have online training as well.

Refund / Transfer Policy
A lot of energy & time goes into creating and preparing the space and material for my Reiki courses. The course cost is non-refundable, however, it can be transferred to the next course (in-person or online) if 14 days' notice is provided prior to the commencement of the course.
