Spike T Smith Drum Tuition

As a middle aged man I finally decided to learn how to play the drums- something I had wanted to do since I was a teenager. My wife found Spike and arranged me some lessons. Spike is a wonderful teacher- his love of playing is infectious and his patience and immediate ability to see what you are struggling with and how to unblock it means progress in every lesson and the most important bit which is enjoying it as well. As others have said- top bloke, brilliant teacher.

Spike is quite simply superb! My daughter wanted to learn drumming. Spike has been dynamite. His lessons have opened up her dreams. In just a few weeks she has become confident enough to explore and develop her drumming and Spike has been the guiding hand as well as being the free spirit who creates the 'lets do it' drumming dynamic. I love lessons with Spike. He is has helped me to focus and improve my drumming so much. He is so passionate and direct but he also has an amazing ability to tailor his teaching to the student's needs. I found Spike when searching on line for lessons, and I'm so glad I did. I’ve been learning from Spike now for over a month, he is a great, very knowledgeable, enthusiastic teacher. I am a complete novice to the drums and wanted to learn something new. The few lesson I’ve had allowed me to actually create some beats and play the drums! Highly recommend Spike!
