Spice Monkey

I bought a Spice Monkey course for myself and my partner for Christmas. We went in early February this year and it was fantastic. Nikita is a great teacher - passionate, experienced, knowledgeable and very fun. I did not expect references to Sid Snot during a cookery course, but it was very funny! I really enjoyed the experiential nature of the course - Nikita had us trying out all the spices and flavours before we did any cooking with them which made it really interesting and vivid, straight...

So far, I have taken two courses with Nikita, and both have been excellent and great fun. Nik is really engaging and encouraging too. The food you make is delicious and above all attainable. I regularly cook the recipes, and use the techniques he taught me to balance flavour on all the food I make at home. Thoroughly recommended.

Our family of four took a cooking class with Nik. The experience was a highlight of our trip to London and Paris. Nik is a wonderful teacher and the whole family including teenagers were fully engaged and involved. And at the end of the experience we ate the best meal we had in London. We highly recommend taking a cooking class with Nik.
