Marcus is a brilliant guitarist with infinite patience, attributes which contribute to his excellence as a teacher. He has very positive approach and will always find a way forward when you think you have hit a brick wall. His laid back style enables lessons to be very flexible, you can learn to play the music you like, or follow a structured course, or meander anywhere between. I've been a student of Marcus for more than 5 years. Marcus has great breadth and depth of knowledge and passes this on in a very easy going manner. He employs a variety of teaching methods and is happy to follow either a structured syllabus for grades or a less formal structure. The lessons are fun, I enjoy every session and my guitar playing has improved enormously. What more is there to say?!

Marcus is not only a great guitarist but also has an in depth technical knowledge of the music theory behind it and can teach it at a rate the student can absorb without being overwhelmed or bored.
