South Winchester Golf Club

We came to the club house for a birthday lunch. Liz was wonderful, she had decorated the table with party hats, balloons, napkins etc. She was so attentive, nothing was too much trouble and she ensured we had a lovely time. Alex the friendly head chef must be commended for the delicious pies we had, they were scrummy we all loved them. We felt very special, even more so as we don't play golf! Thank you so much xx

I actually only went for a walk around the course this morning and before I went, called the club to ask if it was okay to walk and Matt answered, said not only was it okay, but offered to meet us and show us the best walking route. The club has a really nice inclusive feel. No snobbery, lovely location, very welcoming people and great bar next to a roaring log fire. Such a good experience that I might even take up golf!

Held my daughters wedding at the golf club. Honestly had the perfect day. Staff were brilliant, with nothing too much trouble. Food was excellent. Fantastically organised day. Thanks again to all involved. You made a special day very memorable.

Loved the layout. Well positioned club house. Good food and friendly staff. Pitty the Pro shop offering is so thin. Certainly worth a visit.

Played in a charity day here (and have done for several years). A really good course, challenging yet forgiving (on a couple of holes atleast) the course was in great condition, the staff helped run the day efficiently and all in all it was a good day raising money for a local charity. Would recommend playing here anytime, we were lucky with the weather today, however I have played when it is wet and the course drains really well. Enjoy!
