South Street Playing Fields

Easy to walk to if you live in Barming, great little play park with swings, climbing frame, slides and other equipment, playing field for ball games and tarmac to scooter on or practice riding a bike. Brilliant.

Nothing fancy. Just a really convenient local recreation area close to Barming Church.

Fun time with friends

Really lovely area to take your children for a run around, kick about with a football, a bike ride around the field or just a play in the play area. There’s an area laid out in the corner of the playing fields for basketball too. A lot of parents have taught their children to ride a bike in these fields purely because of the open area of it I think and the fact it’s safe everywhere.
