Recently visited for an 80th birthday party, the bar staff were fantastic with drinks very resonable. Would definitely recommend this venue for any get together you might require.

Watched the England game here, they even had pizza sent in for everybody, even though we were not members. They made us feel very welcome. The bar was well stocked, and the beer was obviously looked after by someone who knows what they are doing.

Established in 1902 as a gentlemen's club. Later built the bowling green, which is one of the biggest in the north west. It boasts three full size snooker tables which are used extensively, especially in the winter months when the green is closed. The bar is open daily from 12:30 through to 23:30. Membership needed, although can be signed in by a member up to three times a year. Membership fees are £125 per year. Which includes use of all facilities .
