South Shields Indoor Bowls Centre

Lovely place for the Folk Club on a Sun night, 1900hrs for a 1930hrs start. Crying out for singers I was told although the regulars are great but there's not many. It may start me off learning again as Davy Lamp in Washington Arts Centre now closed, you never know. If you're a folk singer go along there, £3 a singer's night, £6 a guest night. Went here after funeral. Room was basic but fairly spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Can't comment on the bowls, as didn't go in there

Fantastic place with lovely staff, plenty of parking space. The drink is value for money.

Had a lovely Buffet Lunch here for South Tyneside Nurses League. Staff very helpful excellent food and a spacious environment. Would not hesitate to recommend and thanks again..

Used the function room for my daughters Christening reception recently. All of the staff were so helpful. Especially the lady who was doing our buffet, she saw I was running late doing the decorations so helped us with them which I thought was very kind of her.
