  • Back office is really passive aggressive and will let you auto-enroll into the next term, without properly giving you notification of the deadline. They will force you to pay the full term fee based on a Ts and Cs technicality, even if it's one month before the new term starts and you explicitly don't want to re-join. It's such a strange way to treat (until then) loyal customers who have already been with them for a few terms - and in the middle of a cost of living crisis. Avoid! Run! Don't l...

  • My daughter went to two other dance schools in the local area for 2-3 years prior to trying SLDS. She's been at SLDS for the last approx 1.5 years and so far, she's enjoying it the most as standards and expectations are very high. As a parent, I love how well organised everything is.

The team show great commitment (and also expect it of the kids) to the exams and results and this can be seen in the grades. My son is about to take his first dance exam (he does ballet, tap and modern) and dancing has helped him deve...

  • Lovely baby ballet class based in Herne Hill but near enough to East Dulwich - we started with melody music where a parent attends the class too and now in nursery 1 where little one attends class without a parent - definitely worth attending Melodie music first to get them used to the school and lessons. Classes seems to be a good balance of fun but also introducing the concept of having to follow instructions and listen to the teacher but all done in a very gentle and caring way. The rest o...
