  • We have just finished our course of 1:1 sessions with Graham. It has been such a positive and beneficial experience for us and our particularly determined 7 month old Springer Spaniel puppy. Graham’s calm, straight forward approach has transformed how we now manage our dog. We were really struggling to get him to engage with us outside the house and so walking him was becoming an increasingly frustrating, miserable experience and we were in despair as to what to do. Graham has now given us t...

  • We’ve just finished the 6 week course of 1:1 training with Bailey our 15 month old Lab and can’t believe the results. Walking Bailey was a total nightmare as he’d pull on the lead so much that he’d strain our arms and even pull us over! He’d lunge at other dogs because he wanted to jump all over them, so we avoided dogs whenever possible and dreaded walking him. I’m happy to say that thanks to Graham and being consistent at home, we can now walk Bailey on a loose lead and although he’s inte...

  • I can't thank Graham enough for how he has helped me to train my Labrador, in both obedience and gun dog training. He is brilliant and I would completely recommend him to anyone looking to train their dog. I think the way he delivers his training is excellent and it works well. I think my 11-month old Labrador is pretty well trained for his age - all down to the classes I go to at South Coast Gundog Training - thank you Graham for your help and patience.

  • Without a doubt I would totally recommend Southcoast Gun Dog Training to anyone looking to train their dog. Whether its to start training your pooch from a pup or seeking help with issues a little later on in life, Graham is definitely the man for the job! I've been attending Group Lessons with my pup (Molly) since she was 18 weeks old, as well as having regular 1-2-1 sessions, and without a doubt I wouldn’t be where I am today with her training without Grahams ongoing support and encourageme...

  • I started puppy training at another school but quickly switched here due to the outside environment being better suited to my dog. So I started here on the bronze course. Being able to practice and learn in an environment that’s not artificial like a church hall like many training schools has helped massively because my dog has learnt to remain focused in a outside environment like a park (which is why we all want right). My pup is now one years old and just completed silver and we plan to co...
