Slough Climbing Wall

First time we went along today. Tom the instructor and his team were excellent, very attentive with the children. Good value compared with other climbing walls. Will go back again. A great experience for kids and adults alike.

Was offered a taster session on a walk in visit for 3 people, paid and signed the waiver then briefed on safety etc to only then find out that it is one wall to share! When I questioned why this was not explained to us the guy tried putting the blame on me by saying we are over booked and giving you a wall each is not fair on others, then within the same sentence he said if you want a wall each pay us £10 more where it was confusing because he just said he was over booked. Having recently moved to the area this climbing wall is great. A relatively short walk from the train station and has a variety of problems ranging from 4-7+. Recently 2 auto-belays were installed so you can definitely go alone. However if you want to meet people they have a great adult social climbing session on Thursday evenings, there are also options for child climbing sessions. Interesting wall, lots of variety and well maintained. Best of all - Tom is a superb instructor - very competent and experienced, welcoming to all levels of climber, great teacher, passionate and thoughtful about what he does, and above all he creates a very safe environment.
