  • Took advantage of the Winter Package last month - £30 for coffee & breakfast cob, 18 holes of golf & single course meal after round of golf. Absolute fantastic value. Food & drinks were very good and golf was excellent (weather dry and not too cold). I can understand some recent reviews commenting on the standard of the fairways but that's clearly because of the exceptionally hot & dry summer, no green keepers could do much about that, but the course was in good condition allowing for that....

  • The course is purely interested in making money and doesn’t care about it’s members or their well being. The management committee are set in their ways and have no comprehension of how to run a golf club. Far better golf clubs who put people before money !

Easily as good as the likes of hollinwell and coxmoor in Nottinghamshire, or horsley lodge and Breadsall priory in Derbyshire etc. The fairways are generous but stray off them and the aestheticly pleasing whispy rough hurts, as it should. Royal st george's style! Throughly enjoyed the golf course. The member...
