Had an absolutely fantastic time at Shrove Hill Sporting Clay Shooting today. As someone who has never shot before, I was quite anxious that I wouldn’t be able to do it and didn’t know what to expect. I was greeted by Michael who was very efficient and knowledgeable in his Health & Safety guidance and made sure my anxiety was put at ease. Our instructor was Dan who was absolutely fantastic. Great targets, great prices. If you’re a complete beginner who’s like to get into the sport or an expert shooter, there’s plenty here for you. Lots of parking. No deep mud, in the worst conditions boots are an idea but you will never be sinking in mud. Cartridges available for sale as well as a canteen for cafe breakfasts and burgers.

This place is brilliant! Steve and his colleague are lovely guys and made us all feel very welcome. We learned loads and we all had thoroughly enjoyable day and will definitely return. Thank you!
