Shrigley Hall Golf & Country Club

We have just been for Christmas Sunday lunch with Santa. The place is absolutely magical. The staff were marvellous with the children (and us adults). Excellent food and service. Each child got a quality gift. The hotel is set in idyllic surroundings. Can’t wait to go back!

What an amazing course.. if you walk it you'll be tested it's very hilly and steep at parts. Buggies available though so of you don't want to walk it's still playable. But I got to say this is 1 of the best courses in the country what a gem

One of my favourite golf courses in the area. Shrigley has some challenging holes, some stunning holes and incredible views of the Peaks and Manchester the whole way around. It’s reasonably long and very hilly so be prepared for a good hike. The fairways have plenty of width so driving off the tee is a lot of fun. Played in July and the course was in beautiful condition. 100% recommend!

Lovely setting and hotel,good golf course and spa which you have to pay extra to go in the pool. Overall the service and food was good. The hotel lacked atmosphere and information in the hotel when you are staying about the facilities times ,menus and prices.

Had new years Eve at the hotel, it was amazing from the staff to the food, very well organized Friendly and taste menus. Rooms were very clean and of fitting decor with the added bonus of a jacuzzi bath. Would highly recommend it. The spa area is amazing and well worth a visit. But I would recommend you bring a compass to get you back to your room along the many similar long corridors and stair cases lol.
