Shrewsbury Lawn Tennis Club

Went to a ceilidh there last night. It was the Tern Valley Tinkers. What a great band.

Great club, lots of friendly members and some of the best grass courts in the county.

It is a friendly, welcoming club. Playing on grass is a real treat and, in winter play continues on the hard courts.

My daughter has tennis lessons here. The coach has an excellent relationship with his pupils and is patient and encouraging too. It has a large carpark and seating area for those who spectate. It is great to have this spirt facility in town.

As a member I've found it to be a very friendly club with good standard of tennis and opportunities to compete in teams and social events - there ate 5 floodlit hard courts, and 6 grass, with parking, set beside the quarry park and river. Recommended!
