  • I joined the beginners Krav Maga block of classes and feel I’ve learned the basics of some useful techniques for self defence (that hopefully I’ll never have to use). The team were really friendly and welcoming, which was great! :). They made it fun and engaging whilst also teaching us really important skills. Thanks guys 👍

  • Really big, well equipped gym space, where everyone trains together and supports each other. Chris is a very skilled and knowledgeable trainer that makes everyone feel comfortable and confident and in safe hands. Chris' style of training is straight forward and common sense and it works!   • I have been at shield for about 6 years now and the classes are amazing. Chris and Brendan are two of the nicest guys you could hope to meet and their training is fantastic.   • I started training with Shield a few years ago and can honestly say that it has been one of the best things I have done. Although joining any new club can always be a bit nerve racking, you are very quickly put at ease by the excellent instructors and the friendly and welcoming members.
