Shenfield Cricket Club

Went to a charity fund raising event there yesterday. So good to go somewhere with such a sense of community spirit. Our eldest trained there when he was younger and we had many a great Friday night watching the kids training and socialising with friends. Would recommend it to anyone interested in cricket.

Great facilities and venue, helped us out with a place at short notice after another venue cancelled a few days before our son’s birthday party. We had a great time, thanks to Steve and the team! Would definitely recommend.

I had an amazing night at the Elvis evening! Staff were lovely, especially the manager who really looked after me and all his guests! Special mention to the blonde barmaid with the funny accent. I couldn’t understand her a lot of the time but the equally lovely dark haired barmaid was able to translate so all was good!! Five stars from me, lovely club, extremely helpful and polite staff.

Great club! They've worked really hard to promote a community atmosphere. Good facilities. Nice little bar and a good kitchen. Could do with a bit more of a shaded area outside. I would have given five stars, but the last time I was there the blonde woman serving at the bar was unnecessarily rude. The rest of the people involved with the club seem very pleasant and polite.

Bar staff deserve a 10/10 which was ruined by a severely drunk Manager who started on an innocent patron who spent loads of money and Manager poked a woman in the chest (which is a form of assault). Bar staff were so embarrassed they followed out the patron and apologised for their managers behaviour. Manager should go to AA, stop pocketing money and try working whilst sober. Shameful.
