  • Jacky is an amazing teacher and has the patience of a saint! I particularly find verbal instructions difficult and prefer to see something visually. She 'held my hand' and guided me through adding a large button hole into my dog's coat so that I could clip her car harness into the seat belt without removing the coat. Without me asking for a video Jacky found the perfect one on YouTube & sent it through quickly. A fantastic service even though I'm 200 miles away. Many thanks Jacky xx

  • Before going to Jacky's sewing school, I would have considered myself quite an accomplished sewer; I've made various gifts and clothes (including my own wedding dress) but with Jacky I actually learnt to do everything properly! She gave really clear instructions and guidance on how to make my garment and all with patience and a smile! • Really enjoyed learning to cross stitch and do patchwork in a relaxed, friendly environment with lots of joy and laughter in the lessons. Jacky has so much knowledge and talent in craft and is so patient, she takes lots of time to explain so you understand, adapting to different learning styles. I learnt so many skills and had so much support with no rush to complete things. Thank you Jacky! x

Since then I have learned how to read a pattern correctly, choose the right fabric, do all the little fiddly things I never learned properly how to do ...

In the time I have been with her she has shown me how to do silk ribbon embroidery, hardanger, patchwork, cross stitch and lastly how to crochet. She has the patience of a saint because I not the easiest person to teach. But she let’s me have my say throw my toys out my pram and then explains wh...
