I've done two courses with Naomi and Gina at Sew in Kent. Sewing for Beginners and How to Make Clothes. Both were brilliant. To give you an idea in February I hadn't sewed since I was 11 and in year 7 at secondary school. I now know how to set up my sewing machine, how to read commercial sewing patterns, how to alter patterns, how to sew a range of different stitches, how to insert zippers, make button holes, tidy seams and hem Clothes. Was such a good class! Naomi is a great teacher, lots of helpful tips, I learned so much and am so much more confident on the sewing machine now. Very good beginning project and Naomi’s studio is great! Lots of space and great chat! Will definitely be returning to do more projects!

Naomi's class was totally fab, my sister and I booked a private lesson and Naomi tailored the class to meet our needs. She was very friendly and professional. I would recommend 'Sew in Kent' to anyone who wants to learn to sew, needs a recap or would like to tackle those harder projects.
