Sew Confident Chorley - Sewing Classes

Such an amazing place. Dawn is so knowledgeable and got me up and running with my mums old sewing machine. I did the beginners course and this has really inspired me to keep going on my sewing journey. All the items in the shop are reasonably priced and Dawn won't try and sell you something you don't need but will recommend what might help. Thank you for helping me. Sew Confident Chorley has been invaluable. Hoping to do a dress making course in the new year and make some clothes for myself

Had a lovely couple of hours today sewing cushions for the breast care ward at Chorley Hospital. Was a productive afternoon with lovely ladies all keen to give back to the community. Having been on the ward myself some 19 years ago I was happy to help. Everyone was chatty and friendly and tea/ coffee provided by Dawn. I’m sure I’ll be back again to share a class or two in the future. Well done Sew Confident for hosting such a worthy event for our local hospital xx

I had the best time what a fantastic company. Not only have I had a great learning experience sewing and making some great items. Dawn makes the experience so enjoyable. Nothing is too much trouble. Her patience and her passion are fantastic. Love the sewing bundles, ready-to-purchase and whizz-off items. Free tea and coffee plus BISCUITS is always a winner. I had wanted to book onto a class with Sew Confident for awhile. However, it felt a bit daunting booking onto a class by myself, not knowing anybody and worrying that everyone else would be way more advanced than me. When I saw a shirred dress class I had to book it. As soon as I arrived to my class I felt completely at ease! Dawn is a fab teacher. So knowledgable, friendly and kind. I have left feeling totally inspired and can’t wait to get my machine back out at home!
