Warm friendly atmosphere, good to see a decent company.

Poor after sales support. They refuse to deal with customers, directing them to their dealership network from which I was unable to illicit the courtesy of a reply to my enquiry. I suggest non-Seldén parts are sought from the offset.

I purchased a very expensive carbon fiber spinnaker pole from Selden (South Carolina location) for my 36’ sailboat. Two years and four months after purchase and in six knots of apparent wind, while flying the spinnaker, the pole snapped in two. As a consequence, my boat veered out of control hitting a channel marker, shredding my spinnaker and breaking my boom. Trying to address this issue with Selden was fruitless.
