  • Excellent Karate club with excellent instructors and a fantastic approach to teaching - not just the skills of Karate but also the discipline, attitude and spirit of martial arts in a way that works for students of all ages. The Little Ninjas class is a great way for very young kids to start learning some really useful life skills, have fun and get some exercise at the same time whilst the seniors class really helps new students develop from the ground up. For me, there is no better place to...

  • My daughter started just over 3 years ago, at the age of 6, and loved karate straight away as the little ninja class is fun while teaching the skills needed for karate. It is a Family friendly club that can give quality training to anyone f...

Knowledgeable and supportive higher grades support newbies and less experienced karateka and everyone leaves feeling stretched and challenged. If you want a family atmosphere this is the place for you!

  • The instructors at Selby Shotokan Karate club have vast amounts of experience and all are CRB checked and have undertaken child protection courses. This is a family run and family friendly club and in some cases three generations of the same family attend the club. The club is affiliated to the JKS, which gives the club access to instruction from the most senior instructors in the UK and internationally. Traditional karate is taught in a safe and supportive environment and the club has strong...
