Sdfl Driving School

Poor communication, went months without a driving lesson after trying to contact multiple times and after already having paid. Instructor now refuses to respond at all and owes me paid lessons. Standard of lessons was fine, but I’ve since learnt more in 4 hours with a reputable instructor than I did in 10 with this one. Wouldn’t recommend.

Instructor showed up to my lesson with a flat tire and no petrol and used my lesson time to fill up tank and put air in tires basically spending my money right in front of me. He would also cancel my lessons at the last minute & I would on multiple occasions pay by cash and it would be taken without my change given back to me. I’ve learnt so much from SDFL. I had a supportive and encouraging instructor who was with me all the way. I was used to an instructor that would always say when I was wrong with no explanation and would always take too much control, so it was very refreshing to be with an instructor that educated with purpose, patience, finesse and diagrams lol. I had been to a different driving school beforehand (just a few lessons) however the instructor simply didn’t have enough free slots. After contacting SDFL he managed to fit me in 4-5 times a week! The way the instructor teaches is great too, he puts it all in a very easy to understand manner. I can’t recommend SDFL enough.

Highly recommended. Helped build my confidence and has been truly supportive during my lessons. I have struggled to overcome my fear in driving and especially passing my exam, but with a supportive instructor and a simple and effective teaching style, I found my driving has improved. In the end I passed which I'm very thankful.
