Sculpture Workshops Oxford

Beatrice is a brilliant teacher and sculptor. She is very encouraging and inspires her students to produce amazing work. Everything is provided: clay, work station, 'daisy wheel', a huge variety of tools, books on sculpture etc. In short, I highly recommend her sculpture workshops!

The 3 hour workshop with Beatrice was great! She gave us a real insight into form, techniques and how to use the variety of tools that help shape the clay. Not one of the four of us had done any sculpture before and we found that we learned fast and somehow managed to produce some objects which we were genuinely all proud of! I recently spent two Friday mornings with Beatrice, learning how to sculpt. Beatrice is an excellent teacher who provides lots of help and instruction to get you started and guide you towards good habits. I thoroughly enjoyed my two lessons but, more importantly, Beatrice helped me to decide to commit more time to art (and sculpture specifically) and refocus away from work being my priority the whole time. I thoroughly recommend the workshops.

I started going to classes with Beatrice in 2015 and have enjoyed every minute. I love the calming effect of moulding the cool clay, Beatrice's gentle guidance and instruction, not to mention the encouragement of fellow students in the class. It is always an unbeatable feeling, seeing your efforts transform the clay into a pleasing form you can be proud of.

I attended lessons with Beatrice for two terms. I thoroughly enjoyed each session, not just for the skills I gained, but also for the relaxation the experience provides.
