2 People (based on double occupancy) - £5,310 (£2,655 per person)
3 People (based on 1 double occupancy room and 1 single room) - £6,600 (£2,200) per person.

Duration

This new tour is 8 days and 7 nights touring the Scottish Highlands visiting the places covered in the book with a few bonus locations thrown in along the way. I will provide photographic advice and an historic commentary at each location. I can accommodate groups of up to 3 people. For larger groups, please email me at uk.jameschristie@gmail.com

About

• Day 1: Travel from Edinburgh to Glencoe, Scottish Highlands and check-in at the Clachaig Inn where we will stay for the first 3 nights of the tour.

• Day 2: We will explore Glencoe, Loch Achtriochtan, The Glencoe Folk Museum and the Old Military Road in Glencoe.

• Day 3: We will visit Glen Etive, River Etive and a selection of beautiful waterfalls, all accessible easily from the car. Weather permitting, we will take the chairlift at the Glencoe Mountain Resort and enjoy the fine views from the summit.

• Day 4: We will check-out of the Clachaig Inn and head to Achnacarry Castle, visit Fort Augustus, the incredible Invermoriston Falls, Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle and check-in at the Royal Highland Hotel in Inverness for 3 nights.

• Day 5: We will visit the magnificent Cawdor Castle, the Clava Cairns and the Field of Culloden.

• Day 6: We will visit Castle Leod, The Black Isle, the Prickly Thistle textile mill and shop and then Inverness

• Day 7: Check-out of the Royal Highland Hotel and we will explore Loch Awe and Oban. We will visit Kilchurn Castle and Saint Conan’s Kirk and then check-in at the Mhor 84 Hotel in Balquidder.

• Day 8: Check out of the Mhor 84 hotel and visit Rob Roy Macgregor’s grave and then make our way back to Edinburgh, where we will say our fond goodbye’s.

The prices listed below include entry to all locations and your hotel accommodation (Full breakfast included). Lunch and dinner are not included.
