Scott Hardacre Piano, Trumpet, Cornet And Music Theory Tuition

As a mature learner with a very basic musical knowledge, Scott has been teaching me for a couple of months now and I find the pace of learning just right. From the very first lesson I was learning how to read music and got to learn real songs in equal measure and each week he is able to bring something extra into the mix in order to match both my ability & potential. As I am a shift worker, Scott has been able to be flexible with lesson booking and ideas for practice between lessons.

Scott is an awesome music teacher. I found Scott's style very easy to get adapt to. He loves to give you a challenge and get you out of your comfort zone, but is also very accomodating for whatever needs you may have. Having previously played trumpet, wanting to get back at it. Scott was very helpful at identifying both my weaknesses and strenghts, and with only a few lessons I am definetly pleased with my improving performance. I look forward to our upcomming sessions!

After only a few lessons I am already seeing the benefits of Scott's tuition methods. I had taught myself cornet during lockdown after I retired but needed help to correct errors in my playing. Scott has very quickly identified corrective techniques and put exercises in place for me to improve breathing, embouchure and intonation as well as improving my own confidence in playing.
