Scarborough Athletic Football Club

Did not quite make the first game at home for me enjoyable. Ground great though and facilities.

Great little ground. Good facilities although bar options were limited on draft. Toilets were clean. Supporters mixed no problem

I’ve been to a few games since moving to the area, ground actually has some character and a good atmosphere which for a new stadium is not easy to achieve. Stewards were helpful in resolving a query I had. Supporters are friendly and there’s a real family atmosphere. There is a bar in the main stand which everyone can access, there is also a little club shop selling hats, scarves and shirts etc.

New build ground. Away end is however flat and uncovered with very limited facilities. Segregation when I attended but flows of supporters needed to mix / cross paths to get to their respective areas. Better organisation needed.

I was staying near Scarborough and decided to take in Scarborough’s game with Buxton. The game wasn’t great 1-1. But really nice little ground, liked the fact you could walk all the way round and also enjoy your pint whilst in the stand which is not allowed in the football league. Looks a really nice set up Scarborough have got and hope they continue the rise up the leagues.
