Saxophone & Clarinet Teacher

Fantastic teacher! Really helping me to get back into the clarinet in my 20s where I haven’t played since I was a teen. Really friendly and works at my pace.

Milton Simpson Michael's saxophone tuition is a first class, his all-round teaching style varies from reading notes, understanding scales, breath control, timing, playing duets, and playing music by ear. Michael is very knowledgeable and, a great teacher. He teaches playing technique, reading music and how to play the notes but also explains how scales are identified and constructed and is incredibly patient. I am relearning the clarinet after 35 years away (!) and am loving it!

Michael has been my clarinet teacher for 20 months now both face to face and on line as I spend more time in France than I do here. I had never blown a note before and it was an ambition of mine after I had finished work. I now play pieces and duets with Michael.
